So you want to know why I started blogging....

A Blog Prompt from Lori Anderson -- Why do you blog? Why did you start your blog, and has it changed from when you first started writing? If you're new to blogging, what are your goals for your blog?

Why do I Blog????
I have to say that blog because I love to share some of the wonderful information I get form all of the amazing people I network with. I only wish that I blogged way more than I do cuz I have so much to share.

Why did I start my blog and has it changed????
I started Adventures in Creativity as way to share my passion of Art & Jewelry Making with others. I wanted to be able to showcase not only my work but many of the other artists that I know. I also want to have a way to share different techniques and invite others to share some of what they know here too.
I have to say that somewhere along the line my posts slowed down due to the business of life and not enough time in general. I also found out that there is a lot involved with blogging and it is absolutely a join if you put time aside for it.

I am not that new at blogging but my goals are to schedule time each morning to share just little bit of something with everyone who chooses to follow my journey of Adventures in Creativity with Lorillijean.

7000 Bracelets For Hope: Blog Hop

Welcome Everyone!
I am very excited to be apart the 7000 Bracelets For Hope: Blog Hop today hosted by Erin of Elysian Studios and Christine of One Kiss Creations to benefit the Global Gene's Project. It is their mission to collect 7000 denim-blue inspired bracelets for families living with rare disease.
The Global Genes Project exists to raise awareness and support for the more than 30 million people affected by rare diseases. There are currently over 7,000 rare diseases identified, and 75% of those affected are children.  With the 7000 Bracelets Campaign, the Children's Rare Disease Network gives artists and crafters an opportunity to lovingly share their creative gifts with families who have a child suffering with a rare disease.

My loving contribution is called "Spunky with a touch of Denim".  I love mixing different types of media when it comes to making bracelets. I had wanted to make a cuff made out of denim embellished with stones and chain but time was not on my side.....so instead I make this lovely bracelet using one denim belt loop, white & blue shades of stone and different chain attached with split rings. I then attached feather charms to carry the person wearing it to a quiet place when needed.
I pray that the wonderfully dedicated person who receives this bracelet will be uplifted and feel just a little spunky each time they wear it.

Thank you so much for stopping by and supporting this awesome event. To see what all the other wonderful participants have created simply click on the links below and start hopping.
